Palbox is a bill splitting, gold day, scorekeeping and reminder app for groups of friends.

Palbox records money and gold; it never moves them. The app has no payments, no wallet and no money transfers.

Roommate costs, trips or the dinner bill: open a ledger for a group, or keep a one-to-one ledger with a friend.

  • Split an expense equally, by item, by exact amounts or by percentages. More than one person can pay.
  • Use TRY, EUR, USD and GBP. Each currency has its own balance.
  • Record a payment. The balance changes when the person who got the money confirms it.

Gold day

Gold day turns and dates on one screen

A gold day ("altın günü") is a group in which one member has the day each month. Keep the turns and the dates in one place. The dates come from a monthly rule, such as the last Wednesday of every month.

  • Set the order with a draw, by hand, or bring in the order your group already follows. A draw result is locked; every member sees the same order.
  • Admins swap turns, move dates and change members. Every change shows in the history.
  • The member whose turn it is gets a notification 3 days before; every member with an account gets one the day before and on the day.

Palbox only records the order and the dates. It does not hold, send or track gold or money.

Everyone at the table follows the score live

Keep score for 51 Okey, Batak / İhale (Turkish spades), Okey 101 and other games. In 51 Okey and Batak, Palbox calculates the points.

  • One person writes the scores; the other players follow them live on their phones.
  • Target score, sets, penalties and team mode.
